Woke up feeling nostalgic and thinking about the work of Dean Sameshima and Paul Mpaghi Sepuya which connect for me to a perfect time in the mid 2000s. Treated myself to revisiting Paul’s beautiful volume BELOVED OBJECT AND AMOROUS SUBJECT, REVISITED over breakfast. I haven’t looked at this in years and I’m reminded just how incredible he was and still remains.
